New Inventory

When you click on the add new icon from the Inventory List, this page slides up from the bottom of the screen:

  1. Click here to add an image is desired. This will let you select a photo from your photo album. If you want a different photo, or no image at all, click the red X over the image thumbnail to delete it, then select a different image.
  2. Name: The name of the item.
  3. Compartment: This is the location onboard that the item is stowed. Choose from the drop-down list. The full list of your locations can be found under the More tab at the bottom of the screen.
  4. If the compartment you want isn’t on the drop-down list, click the + button to add a new location to the list.
  5. Condition: Choose a condition from the drop-down list. Choose from New, Good, Fair, Poor or Replace.
  6. Chandlery: This is the store you purchased the item from. Choose from the drop-down list. The full list of your chandleries can be found under the More tab at the bottom of the screen.
  7. If the chandlery you want isn’t on the drop-down list, click the + button to add a new store to the list.
  8. Date: The date of purchase.
  9. Price: How much you paid for this item.
  10. Currency Exchange: If you’ve purchased this in a foreign country, click the currencies button to enter the price in the foreign currency and the exchange rate. The price shown here will always be converted to your own currency.
  11. Quantity: How many you bought
  12. Assigned to: Which boat this is for. Choose from the drop-down list. The full list of your vessels can be found under the More tab at the bottom of the screen.
  13. If the vessel you want isn’t on the drop-down list, click the + button to add a new vessel to the list.
  14. Notes: Use this space for a description of the item, instructions, or a note to yourself about where you were when you bought it or why. This text field will get larger if needed.
  15. Add: This button will turn blue once you’ve given the item a name. Clicking this saves it and returns you to the list.
